Women take back London on Reclaim the Night!
Join us in 2012 for the 9th revived London Reclaim the Night march. Marches are always held on the nearest Saturday to the 25th November to mark the UN Day to End Violence Against Women. All women are welcome at Reclaim the Night, including: women of all colours and cultures, of all religions or none, women of any age, disabled and non-disabled women, heterosexual women, lesbians, trans women, bisexual women, refugee and asylum-seeking women and any other women you can think of! We would love to see you all there. Bring along your mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, nieces, and daughters.
The nearest tube station to the start with step-free access is Westminster (step-free access from train to street on Jubilee line, from platform to street on Circle and District lines – no Circle line service on that day). At the end of the march, Kings Cross tube station has step-free access train to street on Northern and Victoria lines, platform to street on Circle, Metropolitan, and Hammersmith & City lines.
Accessibility info for the Camden Centre, where the post-march rally will be held, is available here: http://www.artsline.org.uk/venue/422.
Children: children under 12 of any gender are welcome at both the march and the rally. Girls over 12 are also welcome. There is no creche facility.
